1) After a citizen of Nepal voluntarily acquires the citizenship of a foreign country, his Nepali citizenship shall not be retained. shall register such notice and his Nepali citizenship shall not continue from the date of such registration.

(3) If a person is removed from Nepali citizenship as per section 14, the Nepali citizenship of such person shall not continue from the date of such removal.

p> (4) If a person has the citizenship of Nepal and a foreign country at the same time, such a person should choose the citizenship of one of the countries within two years of attaining the age of sixteen. In the case of not choosing such citizenship, his Nepali citizenship will not be retained after the expiration of that period.

(5) If a question arises as to whether a citizen of Nepal has acquired the citizenship of a foreign country or not, the designated authority will make a decision according to the prevailing law.
